No New Posts Stubborn green stains remain after washing - can anyone help?
If anyone is still out there, do you know how to remove lingering green stains that seem to be embedded in wood fence boards and/or deck boards. Even pressure washing will not remove them. Do you know if Sodium Percarbonate will take them out?? ~ Mark

Hey guys What is the procedure for cleaning composite decks ? I am assuming that I would wet them down, apply a greenwash 1-2% mix, let dwell and then rinse.   Anything else ?

I have a request to remove the semi-transparent sealer on a deck & railings, and then apply an oil-based sealer (Ready Seal is what I use). Any suggestions on how to completely remove a topical sealer to be able to apply an impregnating seal?

How do the pros clean decks when plants are everywhere and growing through lattice?  I was planning on pressure cleaning with light psi to keep from killing plants.

No New Posts Some Nasty Soffits and Cedar Siding Cleaning
Hi guys, Here are some photos of a home we soft washed on Wednesday. The siding was a breeze but the fascia and soffits had some nasty stuff on it. The siding came clean with a 1% mix but I had to bump up the mix to 3% to have any impact on the nasty stuff and then we rinsed, rinsed and rinsed to get the desired out...

Hey guys I am curious to know how you guys price deck work.  Lets first look at just a clean. Then applying a sealer/stain.  Also if there is railing that will need to be cleaned and sealed as well.  Please be detailed in your responses.  thanks

No New Posts Homeowner wants stained cedar siding "lightened"
I have a customer with a very dark stained cedar sided house. The walls and soffits and gutters need to be cleaned, but the owner would like the walls to lighten up a couple of shades. We ran a test on 1/2 of the end of the garage. Used 2% CH with green wash, rinsed and then sprayed bleach wash. The walls look l...

I have been getting some request for deck cleaning lately when I go out on a roof cleaning estimate. No New Posts Brazilian Hardwood Deck
I've been asked to quote a brazilian wood deck and didn't know if softwashing with a 1-2% solution then neutralizing with bleach wash would be safe.  It has a gray discoloration which I guess is normal after having not been cleaned in a few years.  I've seen other posts about using oxalic acid and sod...

No New Posts Deck Restoration/Cleaning in Medford NJ by Diamond roof cleaning
We prepared this deck by two stepping for a coat of stain and seal. We only used 200 psi to clean this deck. There was no furring or splintering of the wood. Also we did not use a bleach product on this deck. Click here to have your deck professionally cleaned!

No New Posts Composite Decking Fun or not Fun
Composite decks have only been around for a short period of time maybe around 15 to 20 years. most of the newer decks we can clean with a 1% mix no problem but the older ones i feel have issues. Its like the mix will bleach out the pigment / color of the deck and customers are getting upset from time to time. we...
