Assuming this is oxidation from the aluminum siding?

Would this white stain under the siding clean up with pressure, or an oxidation remover such as Oxiwash or Gutter Grenade?  Sorry the photo isn't better....this started as a roof only job until I opened my mouth after the fact.  :0)

Troy,

It looks like oxidized paint from old aluminum siding, that has bleed onto the brick for year. We see it a lot here on old aluminum windows and gable end aluminum siding. The only thing that has worked for me is F9. I have tried many other products, but F9 sprayed on straight requires almost no scrubbing. Just be careful around windows and painted surfaces with it. I have attached a picture of a demo I did for a customer on his window ledges. The job was a rancher with 18 window ledges and we charged $900.00, and used 4 gallons of F9, and took 2 hours to complete.

John,

Thanks a ton! I knew these F9 treatments were specialized and cost more per hour/square foot than the typical daily SoftWashing jobs, but that sounds like a great mornings work. I'm sure your wife enjoyed the new shoes. :0)

Have you had any issues with applying F9 Efflo directly to the brick full strength? Any etching?

Thanks again John!

Troy

i use F9 BARC not the efflo because it is not really efflorescence but paint. I tried everything and the BARC works the best. And no issues with etching.

She wanted a new pair of sunglasses, so she would have and even number of pairs at 100. no

ROFL...I remember a post from a little while back when I first joined the forums where you said you were driving down the road looking at roofs commenting on which ones you'd like to clean. And for each one you said you could clean your wife chimed in she could get a new pair of shoes or something like that.

100 pair of sunglasses? Does she lose them often or what? That's definitely an interesting...what is the word I'm looking for here? Obsession? The last pair of sunglasses I lost was probably 4 years ago...correction, my wife lost them in the surf at the beach while holding onto them so I wouldn't lose them.

F9 BARC. That's good..I have more BARC than the Efflo.

Thank you John!

Troy,

apparently sun glasses go out of style every other month and a new pair is in order. She actually doesn't loose any of them, they just get kind of archived and put to the back of the sunglass drawer. She is the Emelda Marcos of eyeware!! I own 2 pairs....one for work and one for fishing, everything else just falls in the middle somewhere.

Wow, has it been that long since I was on the forums Slava? The customer wasn't interested in paying me to clean this for him so I donated him some old Brixx Wash so he could do it himself while trying to sell his home. I was going to trash it anyway since I had better products on hand anyway. Plus, it made me look like a rock start to his realtor, which is who I really wanted to impress. I was pretty sure he wasn't going to put the effort into cleaning it himself. The house sold in less than 5 days so the guy probably never had the chance to try.

I've not tried One Restore before. I'll keep that in mind.
