Steve,

Sometime good old fashioned elbow grease is the only way.

1. 3% mix with GW, TW mix.
2. Allow to dwell for 10 minutes keeping wet with new coats of chem.
3. Use a deck brush to scrub away the organic remainers of the roots.
4. Rinse and repeat until gone. (may require no-no blaster)

I would set the expectation that what you must do to remove that may require re-painting afterwards. Often on painted surfaces, the aggressive scrubbing and/or pressure washing will remove or wear the surface enough that a paint touch-up will make it look much better. I would also point out that if you clean the whole wall, the new paint will match the old better, which can be a secondary advantage for SoftWashing.

RESULTS-Pretty much followed all of the excellent advice you guys provided, including lowering the customers expectations. Reversed the order a bit- Soaked with GW/TW out of pump up sprayer (no SH), let dwell about 10 minutes. Brushed. Rinsed. Repeated. No no blaster got the big stuff but stain still visible. Softwashed with 3% mix (incl GW and TW) and poof.......stain gone. Manager thrilled, no painting necessary and unless you knew the ivy stain was there and got really close you would never know. Area about 100 sq ft. Took about 1 1/2 man hours.
