how y'all doing guys I'm new to the site I'm just wondering I went to the pool place and they do not sell liquid shock all they have is ch at 78% how do you mix with a five gallon bucket
Samuel, CH can be tricky to work with, especially if you don't have the right pump set up. You need to keep it in suspension, as well as apply it evenly. Typically, the ratio for CH is 1 oz per 1 gallon of water = 1% mix.
So in a 5 gallon bucket -> 5 ounces = a 1% mix. 10 ounces = a 2% mix and so on. You also have to dose in Green Wash. Bleach and water alone will not be very effective.
It also depends on what you are planning on cleaning to figure out what percentage you need...
Please fill out a little bit more information in your signature line so we know where you are from and your business etc.

I called around to pool places two and a half hours away from me and nobody sells pool shock because of the shelf life is not long so I am trying to figure out what to use
You should be looking for sodium hypochlorite for your bleach. Call Univar to see if they will sell to you or recommend someone you can call. No one here is using gain or dawn. All of the softwashing guys here are trying to do a more professional approach and use the SoftWash Systems Greenwash and other products. Think about it....If you are a professional exterior cleaner why not use a product designed to clean roofs/sidings instead of something you can get at a grocery store. Green Wash may cost a little more, but it creates much more value for the homeowner and applicators that use the product.
I'm just a new guy here I am a cancer survivor and I'm just looking to get into this business I've been a plumber for thirty one years and no one around here within a three 3 hours of me so I'm trying to get into this business on a low budget just looking for some advice and help so I can start a new life

We specialize in new lives here! Many of us are in Vegas at a convention. Keep posted here and you will get good advice. Keep plugging, many of these same questions have been posed before on here and using the search button can get these posts sorted to the top for you.
I hope you didn't take it as condescending, it is not meant that way. It is possible to to start on a small budget. AC has some great success stories of people that he has helped. Look through a lot of the old posts and if you have any questions fell free to give me a call.
Samuel, I'd caution against using Dawn, Gain or other chemicals that aren't designed to be mixed with bleach. It can actually put out cancer causing fumes.
1 (5) gallon pail of Green wash should do about 5-10 houses. At $700 per house average, the $150 for your Green Wash will go a long way.
There is a Univar in Raleigh, that I'm sure will sell Sodium Hypochlorite. Here's their info -
Univar USA
2200 Westinghouse Blvd # 108

Most all of us started out small - attached is a pic of my very first "softwash system", and how it's evolved over the years... You will get there too! Right now I have 2 trucks with Gen 3 skids on them. You can start out small on your equipment on a tight budget - but don't cut corners on your chemicals/job materials. You'll struggle with your results, as well as potentially jeopardize your health!
