Is sureflow a good pump?

Hey guys, I found a sureflow 12v pump @ 3.0 GPM @ 45psi, is this going to work for me, or should I go with 1.8GPM @ 60psi. Thoughts.

You want more gpm. But also will the lesser psi give you the flow you need at the long distance.

Ideal  is over 5 gpm and 60+psi

I'm trying to keep cost down, and was curious if I went with either of these two pumps, could I make it work for a while, until I can afford a larger pump. Thoughts

Its not about the equipment so much as it is about the marketing. What set up do you want? How much does the barebones set up cost vs the one that you want? Just make your goal and then go knocking on doors or put out flyers and presell some jobs. When they ask about your lead time just tell them you are 2 weeks out. If you are out 2 weeks you must be in demand, so you will close more sales. Sell with confidence.

Yes it will work...not ideal...will take a little more time, but will work. I'd cut back on something else and spend a few more dollars on the pumps these guys are recommending. Your time will be the most expensive cost you have. Don't buy something that will cost you more money long term.

Shurflo is a very good pump just not a lot of flow. There are pumps better suited for our work with more flow. Just starting out you would not know the difference until you used a higher flow more psi pump after that it is hard to go back to low flow. Delevan 5800 series or fatboy or pentaflex are all good. you could even buy the northstar brand to get you started.

FlowJet makes good pumps with the pressure switch built onto the bottom that's replaceable. Check out the mega flow pump#5450 60 psi. 4.7gpm for $139.20 at powerwashstore.com when you uprgrade it can be used as your mixing pump for your tank.

As a newcomer myself let me just say I bought the double pump system from the Power Wash Store. It's a great starter system but I'm ready to upgrade already. We have some tall houses here and I find myself getting very creative to shoot them.

I just wish the pump had about 10' more punch to it. If I had known I could upgrade the pump I would have.

I'll be writing a "caution" piece on the system shortly.

Buy 25' of hose and put a quick connect on each end and zip tie or tape to your 20' pole.  Even with AC's system you will run into some situations that you need more reach

Funny, I just did that the other day. On my truck full time now.

I saw AC's bulk rinse pack work with and without an Unger pole. I gotta say I was impressed.
