I got a kick out of AC's Home Depot Gun, and got to thinking of how it might be modified to work with a waterfed pole. 

After rearranging the fittings some, I came up with this combination.

This will work on Simpoles (Phil Alexander) and J. Racenstein's 3 Star brand waterfed poles.

The 1/2" hose fits quite nicely in the #1 section. The quick connect coupler fits inside the #3 section, so you can conceivably use it all of 36' length, standing on the ground.

Anything longer would probably need a 3/8" hose. I wouldn't advise using the four banger, but a single should work great at that height,

as long as you can see what you are spraying ok. I am going to investigate ways to put a 45 degree angle on this mockup now...

Thanks to Steve at Racensteins' and Bill at the PowerWash Store for helping me put this together, and AC for getting me started with his Home Depot Gun!

Hope this helps any/some/everybody. It should be lighter than that piece I've seen that goes on the end of the pole (at least when it only has one tip at the end - not the 4 banger!).

Check out the crimp clamp that holds the hose on the barb  by the handle...

No cuts! No blood! No aggravation!! Should keep my my fingers limber and ready to play my new Christmas present ;), LOL!

Vic,

Very similar to what we offer as a kit. However ours has US pole threads so you can put the WFP Gun on a knuckle so you can adjust the angle of application.

Can you tell me what you mean by US pole threads? Do you mean Acme as opposed to Euro?

What is a knuckle? Is it a 45 degree angle? 

Can you show me a picture? Worth 1K words!

What size hose does your setup use? Do you think 3/8" is better than 1/2" for pole work? The higher, the heavier.

I don't know. I haven't touched softwashing with a pole, yet. Having the hose external could be less complicated...

I'm just thinking about it ;)...

Acme vs euro - correct
knuckle is the adjustable angle adapter at end of WFP before brush
I think AC's is 3/8"

We don't use ours very often. Mostly for reaching very high stucco chimneys. I expect I will use more in spring when windy and I can use pole to reach ridge areas. its easy to have hose on exterior of pole and allows me to use pole for other things like cleaning windows, scrubbing gutters etc.

It is written that "Zeal without knowledge is folly." I haven't done any soft washing yet, and actually got ahead of myself.

I went with 1/2" hose because that is what is used on the Twin Pumps and the Home Depot Gun.

So I may still re-plan and re-plumb, using 3/8" external, especially for more than 2 story.

Have been using the waterfed pole externally for windows a couple years, now. Love the Simpole.

We'll just get 'er done, LOL. I really appreciate this Community, you guys are great!

Going to be hard though. I just got an early Christmas present from me, and aren't sure which new toy to play with.
