We have a Landa 5 GPM 3500 PSI that we like. It runs our Mosmatic 24" surface cleaner. Eats moss for breakfast! I have yet to step up into a hot unit.

Started with a 3500 psi 5.5 GPS Hydrotek cold/hot water. It has been a good machine. Would get another if/when the time comes.

Very rare....the house feeds a tank and the tank feeds the machine. When using an 8gpm you can nozzle down to 5gpm or 4gpm if needed, with the access going back into the tank.

Using 8gpm allows us to get more water to plants faster, (speeds up prep time) keep them watered better and faster, and speeds up rinsing time.

pressure pro 2500 psi 5 gmp .... we dont need all the pressure but more water cleans faster if you have good flow.... for customers with bad well water you might think about a buffer tank.

3000 psi 8gpm pressure pro. $3k from bob I love it. Since I live on a mountain we get a lot of uneven terrain. They can be 1 story in the front and 3 in the back so we need it for the height. Also soaks plants.

Hi Josh,

Good to see you are doing so well. The problem is most of my customers are on municipal supply and the flow rate at some houses will not keep the buffer tank topped up. I use a Honda 4gm 3000psi at the moment but this is not good enough to drive a flat surface cleaner or for bigger jobs so I wanted to see what you guys use. Hope to see you next year at some event.

what size/ type of surface cleaner are you tring to run/ who told you that. I build my biz with a 3000 psi 4 gm. shop.powerwashstore.com/Whisper-Wash-Ultra-Clean-Floater-16-4950-4950.htm. This unit would speed probably 2 or 3 times, and it available from one of our dealers, keep it in the family!

Yes. The 16 inch ultra is perfect. I have one just for my 4gpm machine. For every 4gpm you need 4 inches of surface cleaner. So 4gpm x 4 = 16inch surface cleaner. 5gpm x 4 = 20 inch surface cleaner. Etc etc.

You can probably hook your machine directly to the water supply at the house. Always choose the one closest to the meter.

Supply and demand. That's the the faucet the water first passes by and your machine will get all of it before and if someone turns the water on in the house. It is also where the flow is at it it's strongest point. Say you hook furthest from the meter, like in back of the house, and someone turns the water on to shower or wash dishes, etc, it will weaken the amount of water your getting in back.

We always tell customers that they can not use water while we are cleaning. It usually is never a problem because their never home when we clean..

Don't forget about the pump itself, I use only CAT pumps and have been since 1997. The reason being they are made in the U.S.A. and are completely rebuildable... Just remember you get what you pay for.
