Great use for my new SWS skid!

Cleaning about half a mile of PVC fencing for a home owners association. The cradle skid is making very short work of this otherwise arduous task. Using a 1/2% ( .5)solution and Greenwash.

No water on the grass? I think florida has strong grass or lots of rain, I did some testing and even very week solutions will fry grass up here.

Got mix in the small tank, water in the large. We Also had a 1 inch saturation rain on Wednesday night, so ground is pretty wet still

Ray,

Great work. When I grow up I want to be just like you. How did you price it?

Hank

Hank, I've done this job before, so I know how long it takes. It's about a seven hour job, Split up over a few days. We do it at only $75 per hour as a benefit to the H OA. Why so cheap do you ask? Same reason I split this job up over a multi-day period. I know I will book at least five or six cleaning jobs from being on the property. I make sure we are there in the evenings when people are getting home from work and on Saturday so people can see and talk to us. Pretty fierce competition for this job, as you can imagine.

 Ray,

Thanks for the feedback. Your methods and pricing structure will never be questioned by me. Your posts are always informative and productive.

Ray I love the word smith =ARDUOUS awesome word! The new rig looks awesome at work I got to find a metallic gray GOV special!

Danny did you use plant wash in your testing? I am in PA also and have been pretty successful working around grass, did a large paver wall with a 2.5+% solution of SH and with water before and some rinsing after and a saturating application of plant wash we had NO burning.  Picked up my yard sign 10 days after completion and the grass was as good as before I cleaned. It was a shaded yard and I expected some grass kill but the plant wash was effective!  I use it on every job regardless of overspray or need, just as good practice. Not going to say NEVER killed any grass but the use of plant wash is a BIG help. When I'm selling it’s a step(plant wash) that I put focus on with the client, It’s a step most of my competitors don’t take. The client usually doesn’t mind paying a little extra, but they feel like they’re getting a lot of EXTRA's.

Also different strains of grasses react differently! St. Augustine is pretty darn hardy. Bahaia and centipede not so much.

Wow Dan

Were not getting that over here on the east side. Must be that lake effect. We only have about a half inch. At least your making some $$$$ plowing.

I am gonna try to use the word arduous today, good word. I haven't had much issues with grass, but what I was refering to, was some testing I had done, in which I killed the grass in all 3 test sites. If you have saturated ground first, before any chemical is applied you should be good to go.

Danny

Great job.
I am so looking forward to our season starting here.
Ever since I got back from Softwashapalooza it has not stoped snowing. Plowing every nite.

Here's a pic of my picnic table, that snow depth is from the last 2 days here in Michigan
