I like the bottom addition Mike. And the diamond really has a 3d effect. Maybe I had just not noticed that before, but it is very clean. We have been trying to figure out how we want our wrap to be on our cube van, and the more I see wraps on this forum, the simpler the better.
My brother in Oklahoma had his trailer wrap started when I was out there last week, and what a difference when true pros install the graphics! The lesson I learned was start somewhere. Work with your local wrap guys or whoever, and design the complete package. Then, if needed due to budget constraints, start with the partial wrap and keep going with more of the final graphics look as the profits roll in.
What the graphics company did for my brother was to temporarily place his phone number centered under the company logo. They also located the logo down from the top so the tagline can be added in the near future. Once the bottom swirl pattern is added his phone and web address will be embedded on there too. Smart guys to work with.
I am absolutely convinced though that the return on investment makes jumping in with both feet worth it if at all possible... Interestingly, when it came time for Rick to pay for his partial work, the price was only 400 or so and he was pleasantly surprised and wished he had gone forward with more of the final work.
These graphic companies are just like us, they want to please their customers and enjoy the rewards of having great looking rolling billboards showing others who to go to for great work, so don't hesitate to turn them loose!
I would look to add the softwash authorized and 5 year warranty on there. adds credibility by having third party confirmation. and comfort with the warranty. And definately separates you from the rest of the yaahoos running around with pressure washers. One of the things I am going to add to mine on the rails of the flat surface cleaner rack is SOFTWASH=SAFEWASH.
Hope this helps some. I know very little about marketing and sales compared to AC but what I do know is a little about human nature and you must keep that in mind in everything that we do. Or just do whatever AC says and then you don't have to worry about it. I just studied it in my previous career as a financial advisor.
Doug i am very confident in my 5 yr warranty since it came right from the Source ( AC). I took the pro biz wilderness course in 2010. I will probrably get the SWS in july once we get rolling thru the season. I just spent close to 7000 on other equipment including the wrap and marketing material so i have to take it easy on the spending right now. Our season starts in 29 days and my main focus is the marketing. We are starting our spring campaign shortly, right now its snowing out. I am looking for this yr to be another banner yr.
Looks good Mike! It's tough to wrap dark colored vehicles and make them look good. I have the same problem with a dark grey truck with a light grey bottom. My small truck is black and my bucket truck is in for major overhaul. Good luck this year! I am going to the ACR products round table in the beginning of march. You should go if you can make it.
Brian thanks. I will be in full swing at the time of the show. I am planning on the softwashapolooza for next Jan. I really don't like to do the roundtables in the middle of seasons.
Matt it is not the truck you saw that was my f250. I have this truck since march and I had wording and a large diamond on it but it got keyed in July and I had to have the whole truck repainted so I had it repainted and never put anything back on it until now. I am going to use this truck as a sales truck in march and a little thru April then as we pick up in work I have a 2nd trailer that I just put together to be used with it. At that point I hope to get a small car and wrap it to use as a sales vehicle.
Maybe by June or July I was gonna order a skid for the f150.
