Green Wash is to be used at the same rate per 100 gallons of mix per the chart below. However at times you may want to increase the mix ratio of Green Wash to add more cling to your soft wash mix and or reactivate old mixes where bleach has gone dormant.

(100 gallon tank example) Water 89 Gallons **Liquid Bleach (SH 10%) 10 Gallons **Powder Bleach (CH 65%) 128 Dry US Ounces Green Wash 64 Liquid US Ounces   Completed 100 Gallon Cleaning Solution **Use One Bleaching Compound Not Both.

That recommended dose is 64 ounces of Green Wash into 100 gallons of mixed soft wash solution. The amount of Green Wash does'nt change from surface to surface but the bleach percentage will raise or lower from surface to surface. The Green Wash remains steady.

The overall ratio for Green Wash is about 200 / 1 or roughly .64 ounces of Green Wash for every gallon of soft wash solution.

The process of mixing all of your soft wash chemicals into one tank is called One Batching. This is what you will be doing if you don't have a Green Wash injection system like on the SoftWash Systems Cradle, Rouge or Sprite systems.

In One Batching as well as in injecting you can raise the amount of Green Wash to accomplish some desired effects.

Green Wash is fully biodegradable and contains no phosphates. Therefore it will not foam as much as some surfactants (soaps) that contain phosphates.

Despite this fact we did everything we could to make Green Wash foam as much as possible while also being an environmentally responsible product. You can adjust the Green Wash upward in your soft washing solution to make it foam more. Contrary to common beliefs foam has little to do with cling. There are many non-foaming surfactants that will add cling to any chemical mix. Green Wash has excellent surfactant traits like penetration, cleaning suspension as well as cling.

You can add as much Green Wash as you want, just remember it will cost you $24.00 a gallon of Green Wash to do so.

I recommend that you start with the 64 ounce / 100 gallon solution recommendation. Exceeding that will not effect cleaning ability, it will only increase two things, cling and foam. Try not to overuse the product.

If you have an injection system you have hopefully already watched the video on operating your system and  adjusting your injector. To add more Green Wash you just need to adjust the cadence of your injector to a higher pulse rate. Your SoftWash Systems, Green Wash injector has been factory set to one pulse per second 0r about 60 ppm. (Pulse Per Minute) To add more Green Wash increase your ppm to 80. Remember a ppm of 120 is roughly double the Green Wash of factory settings.

At factory settings a SoftWash Systems piece of equipment should consume one 5 gallon Green Wash for every 1,000 gallons of soft wash cleaning solution.
