Thickening you roof mix

WAY to much green wash. Id rarely go above 2 oz per gallon. I have gone as little as 16 oz in 100 gallons. Depends on how much zing you want to give the bleach and how much cling you want the chem to have.

WOW ZING and CLING.......just came up with new buzz words.

Ok I'm a little confused now. I have seen on two different mixing charts, one on this site and one on the power wash institute site. One says to mix 250oz per 100 gal of solution and one says to mix 128oz per 100 gal of solution, and to whatever the bleach ratio. But you have gotten a way with only 16oz per 100 gal. That would be awsome if I could cut it down like that.

Your right, I am sorry had a brain fart. Im 42 now lol. The standard is 128 oz / 100 gal but yes you can go lower. Just use a little trial and error.

I did a roof today and used 52oz. of Green Wash in 100gal of mix. Worked well. had to get used to not having that much foaming action but worked well. Still very little runoff.

Glen,

Because the Green Wash is biodegradable it contains no phosphates. Phosphates are what is needed to get a HIGH foaming reaction. We had to make a decision, biodegradable or high profile, dangerous, poluting phosphates. (thats a selling point)

You can increase the ammount of Green Wash in your mix and it will foam more but really doesnt work any better. Just makes you feel better because of the bubble show.
