Im pricing out building a proper and professional soft wash rig. I am currently using an enclosed trailer, a fat boy bandit, and a 125 gallon tank to clean roofs. After digging deeper into the business, I am planning to build a skid from Softwash Systems. One question I have is what type of vehicle to use. I currently have a 5'8" bed silverado and am stuck between using this vehicle to build up the business for the first few years, or to buy a 2500 pickup, or a high roof transit van. I like the ride of a truck, but everything is exposed to the elements (and Thiefs). The vans are a great way to protect the equipment and is a constant billboard, but they come with their mechanical issues. Anyone out there have a Transit, Sprinter, or Pro Master van? If so, how has it held up, and is it convenient for pulling hoses across properties?
