That is a pretty generic question. Many factors go into each roof. That is why we go out to each estimate. Landscape,pitch, gutters all play into the time and price. We can do a single story roof 2000sq ft in about an hour with little landscape and clean gutters.

Charge by sq ft. You should be 20-30 cents a square foot for asphalt.
