The Roof Wizard was contracted to do it's second building at Seton Hall U. recently. After completing Jubilee Hall in less than 6 hours, and causing minimal disruption to the busy University, they asked if we could do the same for the very busy Walsh Library. This job was a little more complex than the first. The building is the Campus main library, houses the only Dunkin Donuts on campus (with an outside seating corridor area), is open 24 hours a day, and is the hoome to the Freshman orientation (Which just started the beginning of this week). It is a precast structure that has not really had a good bath in 20 years. It measures just over 220 feet long per side, with numerous bump outs and cut ins, it is four stories high in some parts and 5 in others, and has ornamental ledges, cornice and molding all around it. Extreme caution had to be taken around the copper dome, which stands over 100 feet tall, as to not remove the years of patina from it. We were able to complete each side in an average of 2.5 hours per side, with set up and take down three different times. We had permission again to rinse with the use of the fire hydrants and fire hose, which pumps out 160 gallons per minute. Being able to get in and out in a day and cause minor disruption to this University has secured more work for the future. There was an absurd amount of traffic in and out of the building all day, which 3-5 of our crew had to constantly stay on top of and funnel away from the chems. We went through about 300 feet of caution tape and a countless amount of cones. We went through 310 gallons of SH and just under 1000 gallons of mix. 

Needless to say it was the toughest job we have done yet, but the most rewarding. The dramatic transformation from dirty to clean had a lot of people watching.
