Saw something weird today growing on the roof looked like moss but was black and a bit like hay! Solution did nothing to the color but I assumed it would die and fall off like moss does!

Sorry I didn't take any pictures of it.

We had a homeowner complaining about birds getting under his gutter guards and making nests.  We cleaned the front side and repaired.  Went to backside for same.  Scott was reaching in end of gutter pulling stuff out, he could hear movement, assumed it was some more sparrows.  He pulled up more gutter guard and it was a mama squirell with babies.  Scott jumped a foot.
