One of my penta flex pumps started sounding like a coffee grinder so I took it apart . I found that the bearing that is in the head had gone bad . I got the new bearing from Napa for $15  and changed it out with the bad one . Now my pump sounds like a hummingbird. The Napa part # is in the picture below. When I fix my other one I'll take some pictures.

Mario - you are the MAN! I have been told by so many other guys that the pump is near impossible to service - once you take it apart, you can pretty much not get it back together.

So cool to see a success story!
