Can Terra wash be used in place of Green Wash?

Ran out of green but have terra!

Terra is a bleach stable degreaser. Green wash is a bleach stable surfactant, with algaecides. Not sure it will clean as well, but AC will know

order from racenstein Monday and you will have Tuesday. I used terra on one roof on one section, so we will see how long it lasts. it did clean up nicely

Gregg in a pinch you can use gain dish soap. I don't recommend using all the time. As far as how long the roof will stay clean using different surfactants I don't see how that could change from one soap to another unless a film is left behind.

Does this work better than sodium hydroxide for grease and oil stains?

Tim,

i would not use a degreaser on an asphalt shingle roof. it could break down the petroleum based oils in the shingle and cause degranulation. I have heard it works well on wood also.
