I have a 50 gal agriculture sprayer that I use for non pressure cleaning. The hypro D 252 pump has quit on me and Its beyond re build. Do I get a new pump, or convert to 12 volt pump?
I have always been a fan of 12 volt since you have to have a compressor with you at all times and its loud and takes up a bunch of room. Not too mention having to have gas on hand etc. etc.
I push the "gas engines equal too much pressure"
Look at the cost and weigh your other options. You should be able to fully convert to 12 Volt for around $300 including the battery.
In our sales pitch to customers we HEAVILY market against anything you have to turn a key or pull a chord. These are usually pressure washers. It is not worth the exposure in my opinion to have a gas powered anything (except for vehicle) on the job site because SoftWash Authorized Companies have been trained to expose the possibility those are pressure washers and that they may damage the roof.
