You need to be concerned with the percentage...so is the price really worth it?

Meaning that the bleach you get at the dollar store might only be 8% and not 12.5. You need to use more of it to get the same results.

dollar store bleach is bottled at 6%.... outdoor bleach is bottled at like 8%... and how long has it been sitting at the dollar store?? sooo it could be like 4% you never know... so it will add up to being alot.. add in 20 dollars to the price of your roof and then you don't have to worry about it.. or buy in bulk and they will drop the price.. I pay 2.85 a gallon and thats with shipping it 3.5 hours to my shop.. but thats just the cost of doing business...

My first year I got a 55 gallon drum I kept in my garage. As I used up the bleach in my 100 gallon tank, I would transfer the bleach so that I could stop and get a full 100 gallons at a time. That way if at end of week I would have a reserve supply in case I was out late and couldn't get more bleach before my distributor closed by weekend

i've used it by the gallon when i started for testing. all it did was stink like bleach, didn't work

I just found a supplier that is giving me 55 gallon drums at 155.00,@ 12.5%, but I pick it up. That is the lowest in my area. Per gallon around here is 3.60 a gallon. Thoughts on the drum price anyone. Thanks
