Has anyone ever had their mix re-activated by rain? Curious mainly about spraying a driveway with SH and not rinsing. Then the morning dew or light rain re-activating the mix. Dada walks out to get the mail then leaves bleach imprints on his carpet as he walks across the floor?
It can reactivate with rain within a few days after being sprayed. That is why we always rinse roof with no gutters, as the morning dew could reactivate, and create a drip line burn.
Thanks guys. I was considering not rinsing because the driveway is a bit steep. Worried about my mix hitting the storm drain.
This job is near the entrance to a real ritzy neighborhood so I just want everything to take way too long and look great. Which tome also means no runoff into the street.
Id use sand bags and berms at the end of the drive with a sump pump recovering the discharge and pumping it off to the sewer clean out cap on the house.
If you do capture and pump into sewer clean out on the property make sure they do not have a septic system. Or at least do a little homework first, I would hate to see you kill off all the bacteria on the system... Shouldn't be a problem if they are connected to sewer line though...
