So I'm getting ready for next weeks home and garden show. I will be showing the softwash system trailer at the show. Question how do some of you clean your skids and remove sh stains from the alumion frame?
not sure why no F9, but I have used it and it has taken the stains and grime build up off with no problems, then I use an aluminum polish and the system looks better than when I picked it up.
Alumi-Brite is the world's only aluminum cleaner and brightener that is formulated without Hydrofluoric or any other corrosive acid or caustic. Alumi-Brite has almost identical brightening properties to the harshest acids, yet is safe for your personnel and your truck. That's because Alumi-Brite does not etch the surface of the aluminum to "brighten", a process that eventually leaves your aluminum dull and grey. And because Alumi-Brite is non-corrosive to metal, it is safe to use anywhere on your truck and trailer.
We have used F9 and polish three times on the skid and it cleans up great. I think we use A :41 or 3:1 ratio, spay and sit for a couple minutes and give it a thorough rinse. Then blow it off with a leaf blower and start polishing. we use a speed ball and hand polish. I will post a video I took last time.
I use Landa Supernova aluminum brightener. It worked AMAZING on my skid. Just sprayed with a pump up sprayer and rinsed. It almost looks white it shines so bright.
