Ordered and used my F9 for the first time this week. Used it on a house I had washed 3 years ago that had rust stains really bad from a faulty installation of an air handler condensation pan overflow. Three years ago I was not able to do anything for the homeowner. This year, however, we knocked his socks off!!!! To say the least, he was astounded and overjoyed.
Even though I've watched the training videos and seen it work on my computer, I was still amazed at how effective this was and am happy to say it will continue from this point forward to be a part of my arsenal.
Thanks Craig for a great tool in our SoftWash toolbox!!
(I'll add some pics tomorrow when I get home from the firehouse)
Gotta give the credit for the "F-Bomb" to AC, guys. I heard him say it on his video where he was using it to clean one of the SWS skids. Looked like it worked great on it too. I may not have been that clever to associate the chem with F-Bomb. :o/
buy a case of f-9. I keep 1 gallon on truck of concentrate and a "mixed gallon" that I use in sprayer. If you are just starting out 1 gallon is enough, but if you are in communities that have golf carts, you have more opportunities. I also keep some in a spray bottle when doing estimates, that way I find out before I sell if I can clean the stain. Since my truck is always on a job, I sell from my car. I have a bucket with 1 plastic jug/gallon of water and a spray bottle of 4% SH mix and a spray bottle of F9. I spray sh on vinyl/rinse, deck/rinse etc. They are always amazed at results. I would prefer to demo from my truck.
Do any of you charge extra for it , or include it in the house wash
John, you took the next question right out of my mouth. Thanks for asking that.
John Aloisio, thank for the answer. I was thinking along the same lines. We have a lot of red clay here and the iron from it stains the foundation and lower courses of siding on a few houses.
Maybe Craig will come up with something that is as effective on shotgun fungus as F9 is on rust!!!!
