I am getting calls on rust stains on roofs from antennas or chimney caps. I was wondering if f9 was the answer and if so how do you apply it and or if you have to wash it off. The roofs are clean so all I would have to is remove the rust. Thanks
hey man, check out my website and go to the rust removal page.. I only have one before and after picture of rust removal and its from a roof.. I mixed it a little stronger than half and half and sprayed it on with a pump up sprayer let it sit until i saw it start to dissapear, I had to apply it 2x beacuse of how heavy the stains were.. Then just rinsed it with a garden hose and i was done! Charged them 100 since it was my first time and i wanted to see how good it worked.. They were happy
Thanks brother. Nice website. This helps me a lot. I also see you do decks I want to start doing more decks. Right now I just clean them but I have a deck with behrs stain on it and I need to strip the deck. I just bought f18 and f8 I bought any stripper powder and had horrible results. Any thoughts or suggestions on the best was to apply it. Ex. X jet or pump sprayer
for decks I just use pump up sprayer to apply.. We have been moving away from decks as they are very time consuming to do them the right way, strip wash clean sand fix any boards and then re stain.. Our target market is the roofs and exteriors, and now adding on the rust removal has been a good side gig.. Best of luck on the deck! Post some pics of the rust when you finish the job
one more question. When you use f9 only to remove stains on a roof. Do you see a difference in the roof shingles. Ex those shingles where you used f9 does look cleaner then the other shingle
