I'd move to a 2% mixture and rinse with a strong garden hose. Have you taken your modules yet?

SOMETIMES yes you will need to agitate a surface with a brush. However that will be rare.

Bumped the solution to 2% still not coming clean. Broke out the pressure still disnt come out so Im guessing it is stained

Becky, Those are not organic stains. Either clay or rust stains from irrigation. I would try F9 BARC rust cleaner. Search the form and you will find more info. I'm sure Craig fro F9 will comment. Gregg

Thank you Greg. Luckily Customer was told it may not come off so I should be OK this time. I will be ordering some of that soon. Shame I have spent so many hours today trying to over clean it. Leszoned learned.

gregg is 100% correct. Those are hard or iron water stains from prolonged drenching from irrigation. We did a job yesterday that had similar stains on beige stucco, and we used F9 and it melted off. It depends on how deep the stains are, but ou might need two thin coats of F9 rather than one heavy one. Try a fan spay from a pump sprayer and let it sit for a minute and then rinse.

We have "red clay" in our area, will F9 remove those stains from a foundation as well?

Curious. Is it iron oxidation that causes our clay to have red in it? confuse

If you don't have time for the F9 to come in, you can use " rust stain remover" from Goof Off. It can be found at Home Depot or lowes .

So.... how would I go about cleaning up the clay from a foundation AND washing the house on the same visit? Do the house first and then rinse and flood the ground under the areas I'm going to apply F9, or the opposite? Or is it better to make a second trip?

Becky don't feel bad. Most of us spend way to long on our first couple stucco projects. Sometimes trying to clean off erosion until we realize that's what it is, and the difference in appearance wet and dry can really make it seem it's not coming clean. Look out for failed stucco and uncoated grey stucco up high can look like dirt.

Many of us, including AC wasted years learning the hard way and lots of lost money/time on the way. This will not be your average experience.

hey ac i understand the chart for roof washing. what is the mixture of sh along with green wash when doing a vinly house. i always do 3 gallons of water to two gallons of sh with some pink power. fyi i will do my avatar today just having a problem up loading a pic

Hi Chris,

On that same page you should be seeing mixes for 1% and 2% solutions. This is were you want to be for vinyl.

Yeah Chris, it also depends on the strength of your SH. If it were fresh than your mix would be too strong for vinyl.
