Hydrogen Peroxide for Neutralizer?

I was looking at the MSDS sheet on calcium hypochloride and it states that you can use hydrogen peroxide to neutralize CH aand what % its used. Not sure how long it takes to work but could there be a possibility that we could use this in the gutters as an additional guard against plant damage do to run off in the downspouts? Or am  I thinking too much? If it does neutralize ch quickly wouldn't this also be a good thing to keep in the truck and office as an added safety against chemical burns and spills?  confuse

Hi Matt,

My understanding from the modules is that when you're using CH that the Calcium is actually "beneficial" to plant life unlike the Sodium (salt) from the SH. Not sure what Hydrogen Peroxide will do to plants though. AC could probably advise on that with his horticultural background.

That's what I am hoping for. I just figured if it neutrilzes it before it gets to the plants then all that's left is the calcium and not the acid... Plus the safety factor for on the job spills?

Don't overthink the actual methodology of cleaning.  Just use AC's products and follow his instructions.  Spend time on marketing and ways to increase your value so that you can increase your sell price.  If I had a cost of $300 for labor and material on a job and a sell price of $1000, I would work harder to raise my sell price 10% instead of lowering my cost 10%
