you need msds sheets for every fluid or chemical in your truck,.... even diesel fuel and water to be safe....... route log ..... spill contingency plan......and proper labels on everything....... i could use help making an good spill contingency plan i dont have one yet

I basically have everything you guys mentioned, but instead of another box taking up room, I found a good spot to store the info, was the pockets behind the seats.

That is why you put those in the pocket behind the passenger seat. You put the other folders behind the driver.

We had DOT come to a seminar two years ago and this is a pet peve of theirs. They will PING you for having it behind ANY seat.

Yep, I've got one I'm putting together now, nearly complete. But there's not enough room for it on the hump between the dash and seats. When DOT says "not behind seats" does that include Crew Cabs? I don't know where else to put it, especially with another guy riding with me. I've got room in the door compartment for my shipping papers binder, but the truck box will have to live on the floor between the front and rear passenger seats. Sorry DOT.
