I managed to get a Flojet R7300132A Pentaflex 7.0 GPM 80 PSI in the UK  and I need some advice on wiring it up. One of the red  wires on the bottom of the pump is not connected to anything. On the pump itself there are two terminals + & - which I presiume are for the suply coming from the battery. Where does the red wire connect? ( no wiring instructions in box )

Mike,

I hope this helps(http://www.pumpsandsprays.com.au/f.ashx/Pentaflex%20Operators.pdf). There are some contact numbers(UK) on the last page of the pdf.

Hank

Thanks Hank, but I don't understand why it is done that way and the wire that is not connected on my pump comes from the base not from the pressure switch.

Mike,

I'm not an expert in this area. Perhaps others can shed some light on this. I'm sure Flojet's UK rep will know. Either way best of luck with this.

Hank

Mike,

The loose positive (red) wire needs a ring connector crimped onto it and it goes back to the positive pole on the connector block. Please set up a Skype call with me so I can help you set up your plumbing. We use that 7gmp 80 psi for many things on a SoftWash System not just for spraying the roof. If you hook up the pump just for spraying the roof and dont account for a few things you will kill the pump in about a month or less.

Are you still trying to make it out for Softwashapolooza?

AC
