As a roofing contractor, I utilize a telemarketing company to generate exclusive leads. This works better than just door knocking. I get to spend my time with the people who are actually interested in having their roofs replaced.
I am considering using this same technique to get appointments with decision makers to receive free demos of softwashing. My guarantees are:
1. Decision maker will be home(or I don't pay for the lead).
2. They have some level of interest.
3. I can set the day to do as many as they can get me.
4. It will be within a specified geographical location.
That being said, I need a script or at least the high points to use in a three minute pitch.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I already have leads purchased for roofing that I can convert to softwash. I need to do something with these leads. There just is not enough fresh damage on roofs right now.
Along the same lines, I would love a quick pitch for canvasing. Last year my window company dabbled with canvassing over the summer and it was by far the most cost effective on a profit per sale basis vs. direct mail, clipper magazine or the val paks. My website for the roof washing went live today(VestaWash.com) and in addition to the rock baggie marketing, we will also do canvassing for roof washing, along with the windows/roofing. We have a telemarketing company for our windows/roofing and its okay, but nothing to get excited about. I would love to hear your results on the roof washing telemarketing
We are still putting together a script. I was doing the math last night and if I paid a salesman 15% on a $400.00 job, it would cost $60.00. If they get me the job, it only costs me $45.00.
Are you going to use them for residental or comercial. I would also like to find canvasing company.
residential only. The only reason I am even trying this is that my partner spent his own money to buy leads for roofing. The market is pretty dry right now. So, I am going to try to fill the remaining leads with cleaning. He already paid for them so this is a good opportunity to try something new.
I looking to hire couple kids to canvasing pay for the leads. How is the telemarketing work for you
If you pay anyone to go out in the public to sell for you, buy them a polo shirt with your company logo embroidered on it or at the very least a silk screened shirt of some type. You can get this done locally and cheaply.
This will present your company professionally, and open prospects up to listening to your "sales" force better. You will get a better return of quotes/clients.
