Is anyone softwashing above water like lakes and tidal rivers? Is the bleach safe to use or is it harmful to fish and other species living in the water? Is there a product we can use for cleaning these area. The are alot of nice boat houses where we are at that could use a good cleaning.
None of your solution should ever, run directly into a storm drain or even the ground for that matter. Collect it and flush it down the sewer. I think a lake is big enough that it would dilute our solution instantly, but I wouldn't take that chance.
Technically Sodium Hypochlorite is classified as a marine pollutant. It is ILLEGAL to discharge it into any body of water that contains marine life.
Now at the amount that any would run off from our type of cleaning into a lake nothing would happen. However it would be certainly bad press if any competitor got a pic of you doing it. Though if the DEP ever came out there would be no evidence of the chems in the water.
ALL of SoftWash Systems chemicals are completely safe to get into any lakes, streams or alike and will not harm marine life. In fact our Bleach Wash can be legally used to wash a boat while in the water. Id recommend using a NO NO Blaster on a boat house or dock and then post treating it with Green Wash to protect it against further infestations.
why didn't mallard own a boatload of hotsy pressure washers?
No Mallard Systems didnt own pressure washers at all, ever. TerraClean had two Hotsy Washers on trailers for cleaning areas out at Disney ripping gum etc.
