Hey Doug,

When we have a job for wood cleaning or wood restoration, there are many variables we take into consideration. The type of wood, age of the wood, degree of algae or weathering that the wood has sustained, etc. These variables are all considered, and then we mix our cleaning solution accordingly. Every Wood Cleaning, and Wood Restoration job is slightly different than the others. Typically we stay below 1% to avoid "firring" and the need to sand. There are times were this just can not be avoided, but 90% of the time less than 1% works for us. If you have any questions just give me a call I'd be happy to help any way I can.
