I asked company for shipping pappers for my sh he said when you walk out the door it is up to you what you do with sh. AC what do you do when they do not want to give you any shipping pappers?
im not really following you then becuase i have never heard of that. I thought as long as you had under 119 gallons and msds sheets on each chemical you were fine.
No if you are transporting any hazardous material in any quantity for commerce you need a shipping paper. Chris google shipping paper for sodium hypochlorite and I bet you will find one. It doesnt have to come from the company you bought the SH from.
Answer your question Michael yes you need shipping papers when use it to make money in your profession and DOT is starting to look at pool cleaner and us cleaners. Michael AC had DOT at the Tampa round table talking about what we need in the cab of our trucks. AC talked about how he got pulled over by dot if remember he said they got AC for to large tank.
well do you need shipping papers if you are not selling the sh? Again still confused.
Mike,
You are using the SH as a material of trade. It would be like the AC guy carrying freon. He isnt reselling it exactly but he needs it to do his job So it is being transported in commerce. A homeowner picking up bleach to put in their pool wouldnt need a shipping papper because it isnt their trade.
I am out in Texas getting my daughter settled in for college. When I get back home I will create a universal one for everyone to use and post it in this community.
