Mike,

The Green Wash is an ALL IN ONE replacement for all of those chems. I would back way down to a 3% solution of SH and add 2 oz of Green Wash per gallon of completed cleaning solution. The Green Wash is formulated to make SH bleach better at a lower solution. So see how low you can go and save $$$$ on bleach.

Mike use the GreenWash only. It works. I just ordered my 3rd 5 gallon pail this morning from Delux. The stuff goes a long way and you use less SH. It's a win win. Also get the PM for bleach too.

I just placed my order with Delux for the Green Wash. You guys that are currently using it have any pointers or recommendations.

Doug, are you using 2 oz. per gallon?

No I ment 3%. 10 gallons of 10% sh diluted down into 90 gallons of water making a total of 100 gallons of mix, is now at 3% available chlorine.

I'm going to be trying out the Green Wash tomorrow.

How long before it kills my mix? I'm hoping that the mix will be good the following day. Doug, what are you seeing in regards to degrading your mix?

Barry, I havent noticed it hurt it one bit. I have let about 20 gallons of my leftover mix sit behind my barn in my tank, in the sun. Put it there on a Thursday and on the following Tuesday it was still hot. Cleaned just as well on Tuesday as it did the previous Thursday. So IMO it doesnt degrade it at all.

Yes we made an adjustment to the formula three months ago. It now will stabilize your solution but also act as a catylist. Dont know how. My chemist just said he could do it and IT WORKS!

Hello,

I looked at the videos and purchased my first 5 gallon of GreenWash. It will be delivered tomorrow or the next day. I'm new to this system and I am willing to take try something new and hopefully works.

So you mix the GreenWash according to specs, apply it to the dirty roof and wait for the rain and the roof will be clean in a few days. Do I have to apply another mixture to stop the cleaning action? What if I use a low pressure water rinse, will that work?

Any information I, get will be appreciated.

Mike,

No you just spray the mixed chem on the roof one coat at a time untill all black streaks are completely gone. Black streaks turning brown does not signify that the algae is clean or dead. The algae must be completely bleached clear or sometimes in the case of severe infestations bleached translucent gold. Other than water, bleach and green wash, nothing else is needed.

Do not rinse the roof. That is just adding an additional step costing you time and money.

I'm a bit confused.

If I'm cleaning a roof, do I use GreenWash with the liquid bleach at 3%?

If I'm cleaning house siding do I use GreenWash only or do I mix it with 3% Liquid bleach? Help me out here, please.

I have 5 gallons of Green Wash and 5 Gallons of liquid bleach in my garage just waiting to be used.

See this chart for mixing. You can use the Green Wash up to 2 oz per gallon of finished cleaning solution but you will find less is more.

Yes Mike.........your a pain..........but I LOVE pain....lol

The bleach is the only thing you adjust from surface to surface. A roof will usually be in the 3 to 5% overall bleach solution. Home exteriors, siding, vinyl will range in the 1 to 2% area. Those mix ratios are at the link I provided above.

Word of mouth has gotten me 3 house (siding) cleaning jobs and these are green mold/ alge big time. I could use my 3400 PSI Power Washer, but would like to use the Green Wash I purchased and pool bleach

I don't have the truck set-up, so I have to start off small. I'm going to try to use a 1 gallon hand pump making a 6 gallon batch (don't laugh) and start using the solution on small areas.

For a 6 gallon mix = 5.50 Gallons Water + 5/8 Gallon of Liquid bleach + 1 pint of Green Wash. Is this correct or am I just crazy. I want to get the correct.

Mike,

Take your pump sprayer and use a sharpie to divide it into 10 equal parts. Make those marks. Then use the mix ratios at http://softwashsystems.com/page_mixology.htm Then add the green wash at 2 oz per gallon of mix.

Tractor supply sells 35 gallon tanks with pumps mounted atop them with a small amount of hose and a gun.

Start small and build the biz up. Were here to help in any way we can.

3% 12.5? Not sure what my percentage bleach is, I'd guess around a third. Gallon n half 12.5, 6 oz alcohol, 2 good suirts surficant and 2 cap fulls fragrance, doubling that, old method. water to 5 gallons.

Thats my 5 gallon mix. Currently using. WAITING on my order of green wash.

So per 5 gallons how much green wash? And how much 12.5. And dont need anything else?

I've never used Green Wash in a 5 gallon bucket. I guess you are downstreaming or x jetting. Not sure I would even use green wash for that method. I'd prob just use dawn and save the Green Wash for soft wasing houses or roofs. But my guess in a 5 gallon bucket would be just a few ounces like 6 or 8. Maybe less. No idea really.

That is a good start Doug. Start low then add if the result is not as desired. Its hard to back down in solution but easy to add.

At the shop I was only able to get 6.5% sh and the mixology is for 12% ...how do I work this in...?
