I dont want to compete with anyone elses forums! I just want a place to have real discussions about how to have a safe, profitable, soft washing company.
I will not speak about the negativity of the other board on here. If you want to chat about all that stuff and really "REALLY" need some answers then call me on my cell at 407-832-1108.
Some are asking for a real association, like the direction we were trying to go with the other situation. I feel real wierd about that. Will have to see how I feel in a few months. We would need to put together a real board of directors and do it right from the get go.
Some are asking about real certifications. Id be happy to help with that if someone needs help.
Here is the bottom line....... This is a great way to make a living for those of us who look at our educational background and work history and deserve less but get alot more when this thing is done right.
AC,
Is this forum going to be based around only using the Soft Was Systems equipment and chemicals? How do you become an authorized soft wash systems contractor in your state? I have always enjoyed your webinars and posts, but I don't know if I am ready to jump into the soft wash systems just yet.
Brian
AC glad to see this forum. This should be very helpful to a lot of the new guys and experienced as well. I will shoot an email to all my guys that have attended my school and let them know about this forum and help spread the word any way I can.
I look forward to learning a lot through this forum and others as well and sharing also.
It took a few years to realize Ive been softwashing. We do use truck mounted pressue washers in our business. Nothing above 13hp at 4gpm. You can achieve a high psi from a 13hp machine with a 4 gpm pump by using #4 tips, like 0004 tips (zero degree) and 1504 (15 degree). But we found that using larger orifice tips you can lower the psi yet achieve a higher volume of water. This has increased our rinsing time dramatically plus reduced the chances of knocking off loose siding or getting water in between double paned storm windows. Our goal is to use the largest orifice possible before it drops the pressure low enough to draw soap from our chemical injectors. We use Super Suds Sucker chem injectors from envirospec. We have found these to be the most reliable injector with ceramic balls. Not many chem injectors will work using hose lengths of 200' or more. These injectors can draw up to 30%. Only when cleaning cement will we use premade batch of chem to achieve a higher ratio and often we will use higher water pressure to achieve instant results. We never use gas engine pressure washer machines when applying chems to roofs or cement because you cannot draw the proper amount of chems. Plus the fact that higher pressures can damage a roof. This is our technique in a nutshell.

Chris, when we hookin up for lunch?
When you want too? My schedules usually pretty flexible!
Well after 6 weeks of chemo & radiation I'm surprised how well I'm doing and the Dr.'s are too. Finished all my treatments last week and only the last couple of days have I felt a little tired. I refuse to give up and will beat this disease. Surgery is scheduled for July after this next 6 weeks of recovery and a few more tests.
Have been fishing poons since the 1st week of April, they are located in the harbor, on Pine Island Sound and on the hill area behind the pass. To many BIG sharks in the general vicinity of the pass area. Plus they are more fun in shallow water no where to go except out and up. Have had trips during my treatments and have 4 scheduled next week. I am okay during trip, but move slow after I get home cleaning the boat and getting ready for another trip.
I see you may be traveling around the end of the month, how about June, find some time bring AJ any lets have a few days of fun.
