It's invaluable that your company name says who you are and what you do. We have been Bob Riddick Roofing, Inc. for nearly 25 years.
We joined the SoftWash Systems Community in December 2012, and purchased our Gen I SWS Cradle Skid in March 2013. We picked up our 2nd cradle skid, A Gen II, in January 2014, and it was obvious we were now much more than a roofing company.
AC came for Wilderness Excursion visit in April 2014, which I highly recommend to anyone if they have yet to do this. It became obvious to AC that the "Bob Riddick" name was very well branded in our tight little community. He pointed a new direction for our business, which was to make our loyal customers become our "regular" customers; to offer them annual services.
He created a new program for us titled "Preventive Maintenance Program". We have signed up several regular customers for annual service of cleaning gutters, touch up SoftWashing, roof inspections, etc. This keeps us in front of our customers, and we have become the "go to' company to help them maintain their properties on a regular and timely basis.
AC's thoughts were to change our company name to Bob Riddick Services. His ideas have been a big part of my thinking ever since his visit. Through the course of constant interaction with our customers, it became clear they wanted to hire us for much more than simply regular maintenance.
At the beginning of 2016 we introduced our new company name, Bob Riddick Home Services, and our new list of services now including decking and siding replacement. AC's catch phrase of "We may not have built your home, but we can keep it like new for a lifetime" is now a reality for us.
What's in a name? Everything! Thanks for all your help and advice AC! 2016 will be our biggest year ever!
You will tear it up with siding. There are some unique products available. Definitely promote the 16' or longer siding with insulation backer and cement sidings.
Glad to see things are continuing to improve for you Bob! Also loved that phrase, "We may not have built your home, but we can keep it like new for a lifetime!"
