It might not be easy to see the transformation in the video (cellphone camera) but the difference in person is marked. I have included a few before and afters to try and demonstrate. The first is one panel treated but not rinsed. The other is panels that have been treated and rinsed.

Just thought about some of the spectacular bank pictures we did about two weeks ago. Sorry my guys aren't professional photographers so they don't capture each frame exactly but I think the results speak for themselves. We got the check in under a week. Fastest commercial payout in our history.

I agree that my SH from Univar is much hotter. I have actually had to dial down my chem usage by 1/2% to 1% on most jobs.

Looking good Spencer! I was looking around for SH and will check with Univar. Mostly we use CH but in some applications the SH is simpler and rinses clean easier.

Wow, that was really impressive. I've been looking into metal roof cleaning recently. Can you tell me what kind of a mix ratio you used? Or anyone else, for that matter.

Caleb - typically the mix ratio for metal roofs is as follows -

Use a 2% mix = If you are making 10 gallons of solution, 2 gallons will be bleach, the rest water. Add in 1-2 ounces of Green wash per gallon of final mix. I personally like going a little heavier on Green Wash for extra cling. If you have a Blend unit, you just set the upper dial to 2, and the lower dial to 2.

Spray, let dwell for 10 or so minutes, agitate where needed, rinse thoroughly. Apply Final Wash to the roof with a hose end sprayer - 1 ounce per gallon ratio. This neutralizes any bleach and helps restore a little luster. Rinse off again with water.

Metal roofs are very easy to clean!

I read a thread where you had used Landa Supernova to remove oxidation, and i also read another thread where someone had used F13 and mentioned that his use of F13 was before there was SWS Oxy Wash.

So is Landa Supernova still a good way to remove oxidation, or will SWS Oxy Wash perform comparably?

Oxi Wash is a much more gentle oxidation remover and these chemicals are in 2 different ballparks. Land Supernova has to be diluted down a lot as it is basically sulfuric acid as it's primary ingredient. From what I understand, Landa Supernova is also discontinued. I believe it could be that it was mixed in too high a concentration and they ran into problems and dropped the line.

Oxi Wash might take a little more elbow grease and dwell time. I can't speak for a certainty, as I've never used oxi-wash for any more metal roof restorations. They don't come around too often.
