Soft washing A tennis court

I had a client ask today If I could Softwash their tennis court. The low spots in the court have gotten mildew and mold where the water sits. The court is surrounded by plants and flowers. Can I hit it with a 2% SH solution and push it around with a broom just like if you were doing a flat roof then hose it off? And if so then hit the plants and flowers real well with plant wash? Any thoughts or knowledge on this would be helpful. Thank You

Ryan,

They clean up great, you just need to be prepared to rinse a lot. The pics below are a set of 12 we did last year. We used a 2% mix and a heavy rinse. They were worried about the surface coating coming off if they used a pressure washer. Couple of very important factors... make sure you have adequate water sources, do not get ahead of yourself spraying and the rinsing fall behind. If the mix dries it is a pain in the butt to get off the coating surface without re spraying it. Take one court at a time. As for the flowers, all the runoff will most likely damage them if they are in the path of it. The volume of runoff will be extreme and the concentration might be high. If you do not have a booster pump, you will need to invest in one for this project, as regular water pressure will not rinse in the capacity needed for this project. Remember to wear respirators and take short breaks every 30 minutes or so. Especially if it is hot out, the fumes will be intense on the courts.

Call me or PM me with any other issues questions.
