One of my guys had one of these hose clamp making tools for working on race cars. It is awesome. Makes the best hose clamps super cheap. I have been using one for a year and have not had one leak yet, and even better, no more sharp screw clamp tabs slicing up your hand.

I have the tools to crimp smooth rings on pex plumbing, I bet they would work great on our supply lines as well. The only draw back is that they take a little longer to take apart (for service) and then you need a new crimp ring.
Thanks Ed, as I said, I have one already, but that demo is way better than the one on the Clamp Tite website.
I usually do the double wrap, then cover with colored electrical tape. I like to color code everything. The electrical tape is highly recommended, otherwise you can catch the cut wire end and "unlock" the clamp, or stab yourself.
