Great job Doug. What percent mix did you use?

Great question Jim,

We used a 3% mix of sodium Hypochlorite mixed with our special surfactants to help our "Cajun Kool-Aid" mix stick to your roof and provide the perfect killing strength for your roof problem.

See, we mix each batch of our "Cajun Kool-Aid" for each specific application. We just don't use a one size fits all approach.

A lot of your pictures are awesome, Doug, but I wonder about the last one.

Isn't that too much runoff in the last picture? Isn't that waste?

And how far is it from the plants in front of it?

Makes me wonder if we can't invent a temporary gutter that can be fairly easily moved.

Put sides on 10' gutter with a downspout section to bucket and hold in place with movable temp tape? Not sure what you call it, but it's the stuff you see on tv that can be washed and reused while staying sticky...

Hey Vic,

It sure does look like an excess of Cajun Sauce falling from the roof!

The truth is; Cajun Soft Wash takes great pride in plant and property protection. What you see falling from the roof is actually all the dead algae, the stuff that was causing the nasty black streaks on your roof, during our rinse process. This Gonzales, LA. area home had no rain gutters to protect the plant life below so we rinsed the roof after we obtained our 100% kill ratio of the algae.

Rinsing the roof does not always need to happen but when no rain gutters are used it's an important step to ensure the plants below do not get damaged. Our Cajun Sauce is 100% Biodegradable....but "Biodegradable" does not mean "not harmful". The fact is our Cajun Sauce is a very special blend of biodegradable products which are designed to kill. Since we only want to kill the algae we rinse the roof.

Rinsing the roof causes our special Cajun Sauce to mix with copious amounts of water and thereby making it inert. If we leave our Cajun Sauce on the roof and a light rain hits or there is an excess of morning dew dripping from the roof we could cause damage to your property......and that's just not an option for Cajun Soft Wash!

The reason we don't use a temporary rain gutter system is simply that we want to spread our Cajun Sauce over a wide area. We don't want to "pool" it all in one single area. Imagine placing salt on your french fries. Sprinkling the salt all over is so much better then all of the salt on one fry.....:}

I am in awe of your mastery of sales, Doug, and can't find a thing to argue here ;)

Jesse nailed it when he said: "You have a way with words Doug. Good sales practice!"

Jim Prom, I looked at Doug's video to which you referred, and am glad that you informed me that was a rinse!! Thank you for the clue :)
