Yesterday day I made a post about this job....http://softwashsystems.activeboard.com/t56662577/today-in-the-world-of-spray-wash/ .
Just wanted to give a follow-up to the originally post and post on the private side to talk shop. I failed in my ambition to get the bulk of this done in one long day. The pedestrian traffic was tough. There were dozens of homeless and street folk who ventured in and out of our secured areas constantly, causing delays, which led to a lot of wasted labor. All total we had 100 man hours invested in the project with two rigs going at it. Building was cleaned at 2% and lots of Green Wash. Cost breaks down like this: 1500 labor, 300 chemical, 800 lifts, 70 in snacks and lunches for the crew, 130 misc. Bid amount was north of 4K. Still happy with the net!
We were not low bid, actually about $1200 higher!

Very nice job and detailed info on job breakdown is very much appreciated. I'm sure at the conclusion of the work the customer was happy they hired you instead of the other guy.
yes, pricing included window cleaning. I just realized it take me less time and i get better results when i WFP windows. So even though I'm going to add a cost for window cleaning on future jobs, i will gladly do it for free, as it is a net time saving for me!
