Hello all, was just wondering if anyone has tried using the "FLEX HOSE" that expands and contracts.  A lot of my customers use them around there house and say that they are wonderful but they don't do the work we do.  Trying to save some room on my rig and did not know if I should spend the money or not.  I currently run two 130' hoses, one on each side of the house.  If I use the FLEX HOSE I could use two 75' and reach around the entire house.  The one concern I had was the ability for the outside of the FLEX HOSE to snag and rip on a variety of surfaces.

Kris,

Recently we've had two experiences with less than desirable results. The fittings on the hose just don't hold up to our expectations. The issue is when my ground guys are rinsing the compression fitting fails if any tension is applied to the hose. I have to commend my guys because they treat our equipment like it's their own.

Home owner had one, I broke the fitting. They are junk for commercial use.

They are not worth it. If you need more room on your rig They make Velcro straps to tie your hoses with and attach them onto the rungs of you ladders or you ladder rack like you would an extension cord using bungee cords or whatever you like to use.
