I had 40gal of old mix in my tank from the 6th of this month it was mixed to 3% at the time. So today I did a test old mix first I waited and waited 15- 20min no result applied to pavers. Same mix now added 2oz of Leslie's Fresh N Clear now it started working with in minutes after applied to pavers and their is no heavy bleach odor I could only really smell the Green Wash. This was SH mix. So now I will try 1.5% SH and see how that will work on a tile roof with the FNC and Green Wash.
FNC will work with CH. I would only use about 2oz in 40 or 50 gal of mix or 4 to 5 oz in 100gal of mix.
That's some great info Eric, thanks for passing it on. Have you used fnc on roofs yet? I remember from past discussions it's been used on siding and what about flatwork since it burns up the mix so fast?
Matt, FNC was made as a neutral PH oxidizer for pools so you could shock the pool and not have to add acid to balance the PH so it's job is to let the bleach that's left in the pool to do it's job at a lower level saving money on adding extra SH to the pool.
So when you add FNC to your mix on site you will have plenty of time to do the job roofs or flat work 8hrs max before the mix turns to almost water.
So on my next roof 1.5%SH and Green Wash plus 4oz of FNC I will post on this mix. I can always add more SH to the mix or CH. 100gal mix
Awesome Eric I picked some up last week but haven't had a chance to try it now I'm a little excited. I think I'll try it out tomorrow on my concrete walkout under my deck, I can't wait! I'll post some pic's up when I can. Thanks brother and be safe!
Pixie Dust is FNC ( Fresh N Clear) from Leslie's pool supply. Do a search on the forum and you'll learn about it! Cool stuff, burns up your mix quickly, but supercharges it at the same time!

Eric....was just wondering if you got good results on the 1.5%SH, green wash and 4oz FNC roof cleaning? I'm wanting to use FNC on bad black concrete work and just wanted to know if i should stay at a 4% or if i can cut back on my SH cost to a lower % with FNC and get the same results. Thanks...
I started with a 2% and FNC on a tile roof that was really bad it worked on the tiles that had light growth on them but on the
rest of the roof it just didn't cut it. So I went to 3% and FNC and it started working and taking the black right off with
multable light coats. I would start 2% and FNC and see on your flat work. Hope this helps.
Kristofer - are you referring to an asphalt driveway? If yes, you shouldn't clean using SH - it can discolor seal coats of asphalt a brownish/gold color. There are several posts on SH and asphalt on the BB.
If not an asphalt driveway - then ignore me. Just playin' it safe.

Brandon....thanks for looking out but yes just concrete work. The customers around here wait till they slip and fall from the mold/algae on their driveway and walkways before they clean them. So they look as black as a goodyear tire....fun fun!
