Their are hundreds of articles out there like that, and others in favor of the manufacturer suggested method which is of course bleach.

I actually LOVE articles like this. When a homeowner brings this up - it's so easy to tear it apart to shreds that they instantly realize you know your stuff.

I agree with the others, this article is so crazy biased and blatantly obvious they are endorsing their stuff - it oozes no credibility.

Sounds good guys, the HO who showed us this article chose us to clean his whole property. I have been talking back and forth with an apartment complex and every single little rumor they read on the Internet they ask me about it. Our conversations do give me a chance to show my knowledge. Since roof cleaning is very new in my area I am trying to educate correctly from the start.

That site sells (Sodium Hydroxide) based cleaners which are used in degreaser and can be mixed with SH. (SHY ) is a byproduct of the making of SH.
