About 500 buck, and I go through 3 to 4 per year. On my "big" rigs I actually use them to spray sauce too, but you can serious dump out too much cleaning solution if you're not careful!

Ray you should really talk to me about a gas powered positive displacement pump. If you are dumping 2000 a year on those pumps you could get one like i use and get 18 gmp 560 psi.... no generator no ac power hook up all you need is a buffer tank
One thing I dont like about box trucks is that everyone can buy one for 5k and there is no guessing what is inside. We all look the same in a box truck. HOWEVER Josh has a REAL winter and he tells me that a HUGE plus is being able to stick an electric heater inside the box and not having to winterize the equipment within. Did I get that right Josh???
Hey guys i dont check the forum every night like i should. look for an UDOR capa 75gr ..... i know for a fact the manufactures sell them to the distributors for $1200 msrp is 2400 just for the pump. ill pay $1400. it will do 18 gmp 560 psi. i would plan on a large buffer tank. you can buy totes off of craigslist for $125 that hold 275 gal. you will still need a honda gx390 motor which will run about 800 depending on options. If the fire department needs help putting out a fire they can call me. pump will last a life time and very low maintenance.
AC you are right i love that i can just put a heater in the box truck and as much as i like helping you guys i dont really like all my local competition know what im using. i like i can hide my set up. also you guys got nice truck wraps but i got a driving billboard " literally " .... if i had more money i would do something nicer then the letters but for now they do a great job. i only paid $1000 for the letters on all three sides.
Yes its more money and Yes its more problem and Yes its more noise but when customers up here give you 2 gal a min to rinse with its a hell of a lot better.
Curious if you have to run a buffer tank with your Dayton booster pump and if so what size? Running out of space on the truck. Also I looked into the pump and it has different GPM based on PSI, is there a way to adjust the PSI? I think there refering to the PSI coming from the hose bib not sure?
The pump comes on a small plywood base. It has a handle. Most of my homes are large, so we carry the booster pump around and we keep in truck's back seat. We do not use a buffer tank.
Mike, since it is a "booster", its essentially boosting the pressure (and volume) that the house is supplying. We use a cheap trigger gun for spraying... the jet action for higher PSI, and the wide setting for lower PSI
