Any oxidizer like bleach is considered a marine pollutant because it removes oxygen from the water and that can kill fish. However Green Wash and Bleach Wash are fully biodegradable and can be used in and around water without hesitation. I would lightly pressure wash a boat dock and then apply Green Wash to make the cleaning last. Here is a pic of where I poured out a bucket of Green Wash and water in front of my garage the other day. A few days later this is what I had.
Hey AC thanks for the response. Most if not all of the boat houses I am referring to have metal roofs. Can you use green wash alone on a metal roof and expect to get it clean by soft washing or will you I need to use pressure? Are there other biodegradable cleaners available for use around water?
