I've seen some posts about copper roofs but I was wondering about the gutters and valleys and other flashing. I think gutters would be ok because of using the gutter cane but how about the valleys and flashing? Also have copper downspouts that I'll need to deal with when washing exterior of house. The gutters are recessed into the roofline but i think will be fine. Its really the downspouts and the decorative copper ridge caps. I'm not needing to get the green patina off just the dark stains. Don't want to have it looking worse after the cleaning. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Just looked at the pix. The bottom metal isnt copper. Its alum that is powder coated to look like aged copper. The top cupolo is likely copper but so badly stained it needs cleaned. When done you can use aluminul brightener to make the copper bright penny again. Rub it out with a rag and then spray a clear coat over it. Use to do this all the time. Call me if you need help.
What can I use to clean the exterior of copper gutters? This customer does not want them to look new just clean there is some streaking occurring. The interior is not a problem and the copper roofs will get protected I’m just looking for what to use on the outside I have F13 and Gutter zap but this isn’t a place to experiment any advice would be great I’m doing this job in about 3 weeks. I cannot get the pics to upload
Likely not real copper. Though even so the copper is already patenia'd and if you keep it wet it cant get any browner. Just be careful and start SMALL.
