I was just checking out AmerSafe's thread on BW... didn't want to hijack it lol!

I use A LOT of Bleach Wash. I have a 55gal drum, flojet pump, and a 300ft chem line dedicated to BW. If I think the wind might blow GW onto landscape I hit it with BW. If I have to cover plants, I wet them, treat them with PW, cover them with plastic, and then spray BW on the plastic. I even have my BW line on the roof with me lol! When washing a house I use BW to treat the windows after I wash. If it's vinyl siding, I BW the whole thing after I wash. At the end of the day I use BW to douse the bed and undercarriage of the truck.

I may be able to use water instead of BW for a lot of the things I use it for, but dragging a 200ft water hose around is no fun. Besides, I like that BW is nuteralizing the SH. BW works and (so far) I've seen no damage caused by it. If there's something I'm ovelooking about BW and/or a reason I shouldn't be using so much of it PLEASE let me know!

I've been working alone for the past month. I've gone through 3 employees already this year. I can't seem to find anybody who wants to work. Alot of guys want a job, but the ones I hired seem to want to skip the work part and collect a paycheck.

I posted this message in a private forum because I encourage customers to visit this website. If I'm using a product inappropreately I don't particularally want them to know that lol!

My uderstanding us you arent suppose to spray BW on plants or landscape. i could be wrong though.

we only use BW on my trucks and equipment once a week or if there is a spill in one of the trucks. we also use it on windows if we did streak them. I have only used BW on vinyl one time and didn't see much difference from the side i didn't use it on. let me know what your experience is using it on vinyl. I have not used BW for plants i use PW only when there are flowering or blooming plants otherwise i dont have a problem. I use green wash all day every day cant live without it.

I too find it very hard to find employees. i have interviewed over 20 people in the last month and only got 2. one im training for the first time tomorrow. Its hard to find people and im starting pay at 12 to 14 an hour. my lead tech makes 16

Let me know what the BW does on Vinyl for ya

I use bleach wash on everything that SH may touch, even as a post treatment for plants I pre-treated with Plant Wash. I did my first soft wash using these chems in the beginning of February. I haven't had any complaints and the properties I've seen since then look great. Before I went to a 55gal drum for BW I dumped 5gal buckets of the stuff on shrub roots just to empty the buckets!

Josh, I use BW as a rinse on Vinyl. If nothing else it neutralizes the SH in the GW, which could potentially dull the vinyl. I see it as an extra level of protection and it helps kill the SH smell, IMO.

I hope AC will weigh in on this when he gets through with his tour.

One thing I need to make clear regarding my use of Bleach Wash: I NEVER use it as a replacement for Plant Wash and it occurred to me yesterday while I was working that using it on anything SH may touch probably constitutes a waste of material because I keep everything wet that the mix may land on.

The fact is, when I'm working alone, which I have been for the last few weeks, I have 3 hoses on a walkable roof: 1 chem line, 2 bleach wash line, and 3 water hose. If it's not walkable I have the same 3 lines hanging off my ladder or near by. If i accidentally spray something or the wind carries my mix off, I squirt whatever got tagged with BW and then a few minutes later I rinse it with water.
