I am up here in PA and we don't have any Hot Spray locations that I am aware of. I was looking to do it myself. Anyone have any recommendations for what I should solution/chemical I should be spraying the truck with?
Hey Dan. I too looked to get a hot spray. Geez its expensive. Im sure its worth it, but man...... I bought a huge piece of epdm and laid it out like a piece of carpet and installed it the same. I box out tje perimeter of the space I intended to use, similar to building a custom shower pan (without the drain). Im really happy with it. All inevidable leakage is contained. Total cost about $100. Im not saying dont hot spray, but I found this to be a great alternative.
Dan,
I have been researching a Hot Spray company also. I have found a company that does the same thing as Hot Spray in Orlando. They are all over the US. Search Rhino Liner in your state. They have a life time warranty. It's costing me about 450.00
I just had my new (2010) F-250 Diesel shot by LINE-X its a hot spray when applied, little more than rhino but I feel its a little better product. check it out on myth busters plus their warranty covers chlorine. I'm in the Lehigh valley in PA they had several locations in PA. They did a clean job.

Rhino doesnt work. It gets soft from the SH. see if they will use poly uriea instead. It holds up much better.
AC,
The company that did my Rhino Liner used poly uriea. I had them contact Lyle at hot spray and Lyle gave him the tricks of the trade to spray for our industry.
Hope I did the right thing.
John
They did not due under the bed they were willing but I thought it was too much$$ for the line x and they offered a wax style coating for a smaller fee I think it was 300 but I didn’t think it would last. I am going to see how this holds up. I did have them leave in all the bed bolts and extra spray all the seams so now its water tight except at the tail gate, If it doesn’t hold up ill get the under carriage done at softwashapoloza2013 by hot spray, guess I better schedule that now lol.
Thanks everyone for all good info, I just need to get my hands on some of this poly uriea. You guys think I can just fan tip this poly uriea stuff using my fatboy? Just Kidding!
I wonder how the 2 part epoxy bedliners would hold up to SH. Such as Defender pro bedliner.
I have the Defender Pro on my trailer it has been 8 months and i have had two pressure guages blow out on me and leak 4% (about 2 gallons) on the rails and framing.....with no problems. I did heavily rinse and bleach wash everything on site once i noticed the leak. This up coming weekend i will be spraying my new truck i picked up last week with the Defender Pro.

Hello all.....just following up on the DIY Defender Pro bedliner i did this weekend. Very easy to do, took about 2hr prep time and 30 min spray time with 2 coats on everything. Total cost for kit and prep material was $207 with tax!
