Hello,

I hope we don't have to have too many of these updates....but I seem to have forget some things.

I will have powdered bleach at the event for anyone who wants to take some home with them. This is the pool style calcium hypochlorite. I know it is hard to find in some areas so I will get a little for cash and carry.

2. For those who are staying over Saturday eve and wish to worship with my family and myself at our Church home there will be an opportunity for that. We worship at a non-denominational Church blocks from our house.

3. I was very mistaken in quoting a price of $10.00 each for lunch at the hotel for the lunch and learns. I met with the hotel yesterday and they were very expensive for a box lunch....soooooo I have beat them down on a lunch buffet in the hotel restaurant at $13.95 each person. Now here in Florida there is a tax on the food and the hotel is factoring in a gratuity so please budget $60.00 per person TOTAL for all three lunch and learns. I know it seems expensive but it will be a huge time saver for us getting these safety topic lunch and learns done quickly and on to the hands on labs.

Hello Again,

We will be having two registration times for the event.

Early Registration

At the Home of the Lockyer's - BBQ Dinner
Wednesday January 25th 2012
Beginning at 4:00 PM, Ending at 9:00 PM.

Standard Registration

Event Location at the Holliday Inn UCF
Thursday January 26th 2012
Beginning at 7:00 AM, Ending at 8:00 AM

When you register you will need these items at registration.

Two Categories,

1. I am currently in business.

a. Copy Of Your Occupational License.

b. Copy Of Your General Liability Insurance.

c. Copy Of Your Workers Comp Insurance. (see note)

d. Signed Waver & Release of Liability. (we will have at registration)
e. Medical Information Form. (we will have at registration)

2. I am not in business, just starting part-time and do not have insurance.
a. Signed Waver & Release of Liability. (we will have at registration)
b. Medical Information Form. (we will have at registration)

c. Employment Application for Beacon Roof & Exterior Cleaning. (see note)

Note - If you do not have workers compensation insurance in place you will not be allowed to train from on top of roofs. In an effort to overcome this obstacle we have worked out a deal with Ryan at Beacon Roof & Exterior Cleaning. Ryan will hire anyone who doesn't have adequate insurances in place for the 3 day period of Softwashapolooza to insure they are fully covered with the appropriate insurances. This will cost Ryan a small processing amount. In addition real monies has to exchange hands. For every hour you train you will need to be paid by Beacon Roof & Exterior Cleaning $10.00 / Hour. We have decided a 6 hour package will be enough time on roofs. If you choose this option you will need to complete the employment application attached to this e-mail and bring it completed with a check for $90.00 (made out to Beacon Roof & Exterior Cleaning) to the event registration. This will allow you to access all levels of the hands on training labs.

When you register you will receive a color coded badge / name tag on lanyard. The color codes will be these,

Red - Signed release of liability.
Yellow - Signed release of liability & has general liability insurance of at least 1 million dollars.
Green - Signed release of liability, has general liability insurance of at least 1 million dollars and has full workers compensation insurance and / or has been hired by Beacon for the event.

Please bring all documents you can because these documents will go in your company folder on file with SoftWash Systems and be accredited towards your Master Business Certification and SoftWash Systems Authorized Company status.

Good Saturday! Four days and counting till SOFTWASHAPOLOOZA!

There have been a few questions about registration that I may have caused by me going 1000 miles an hour.

1. The application for the Beacon Employment Option is one of my old applications for TerraClean with Beacon's logo added. It is TOTALLY OK if you cant answer all of the questions on the first sheet YES. I just wanted you to see the detail I used on my application and so you could implement that kind of filtering into your applications. You just print that sucker and fill it out the best you can! Its OK if you need that option you will be hired!!!!!

2. Yes you will need to be covered by workers compensation insurance to get on roofs at any of these properties. We have to meet vendor requirements of the properties we are serving as well as cover liability for the event and those associated. All other cleanings that do not require ladders or being on a roof will be OK without workers comp insurance.

3. If you exercise the Beacon Employment option you will be giving Ryan a check for just a bit more than what your paycheck back from Ryan will be. He does need a little more than the $10 an hour he will be paying you so he can cover his half of the social security and Medicare tax as well as payroll processing costs. In a week or two after the event you will receive a pay check in the mail from Beacon Roof & Exterior Cleaning which will almost square you up except for the aforementioned taxes, withholding taxes and payroll processing fees.

4. I have attached a picture of the ID Badge for the event. There are three boxes on it with colored dot decals. This is how we will be able to see quickly as to what you are authorized to do while in the cleaning labs. See also the .PDF file of the registration check list. This will tell you what you need at registration. Please make sure to have these items with you at either Wednesday's or Thursday Morning's registrations.

5. We are collecting this information as well so we can start your folder at SoftWash Systems to keep all of your records in as you travel down the road to your Master Business Certification and then becoming an Authorized SoftWash Systems Company. Don't get all Big Brother feeling about all of this, we are just trying to build the best trained and equipped cleaning community the world has ever seen. :)

Jim,

Welcome aboard. The schedule of events is here, http://softwashsystems.com/page_softwashapolosa.htm . Each day will begin at 8:00 am and complete by 6:00 pm. Breakfast will be served in the hotel resturant at 7:00 am. We will also go out for a dinner / social each evening.

The basic outline is from 8 to 11 ish each day will be in classroom training, from 11 to noon safety lunch and learns and from 1 to 5ish hands on labs on cleaning projects in the field.

Doug,

He is #29 we still have one spot left. We did 6 scholarships of the 29 for thise it was all they could do just to get down here and some who flat are starting over in life.

I had planned since Dec to cap at 30 and it looks like we will get there.

Hopefully we will bless alot of lives through this event.
