How about cleaning the copper top of a bay window... any suggestions on what to use.  I tried all of the household remedies, but it was tough going.

Use alum bright then neutralize with vinegar and seal with laquer. Really something left to a metal refinishing pro. This is big bucks if you screw it up.

We did a 17k slate roof project for a very well known Dr. here in Tampa.

The project had copper gutters and window visors like you said.

The love with tsp in it will turn the copper a greenish yellow if it is allowed to oxidize on it. 

 

(did a test on it)
