Here's a job I bid yesterday. This is a pretty common sight out here. Moss grows before GM does. Thought I'd share some of my challenging jobs with you guys. Just curious if anyone out there deals with this and how you go about tackling it.

Thought I would post what my latest job sold was. I did a walk through and took note of every roof on the property that had moss and the degree of the growth. There was no visible Gleocapsa Magma growing on the roofs, just moss. Then I measured the entire property using Google Earth. and put together 2 opti...

I am looking to do a commercial, and I wanted to create some black streaks on a roof, so that I can spray them and then rinse them away with a garden hose. Anyone have any ideas for some fake black streaks?

So here is our first cedar roof, we don't really have any here.. This house was pretty tricky to learn one, the gazebo was lifted 20ft in the air with no gutters, the roof on the house was a barn style roof so the sides were straight up and down.. But it came out really nice!

Ok, here's the job we did today. DEFINITELY a learning curve on this one. Thought I'd share my experience. First job with the new SWS skid. First off, I hit with a 2% mix of CH. Strained through a paint sock and basket strainer. I had no CH leftover in the basket after I ran water through. (Don't know if that...

I quoted and landed a metal roof job today. The roof looks exactly like a asphalt shingled roof, but it is metal with a coating to look like asphalt. It is showing signs of black streaks and even has lichen growing on it, has anyone dealt with this type of roof yet. I am thinking a 1.5 - 2% mix with a rinse then...

Had my first roof that I had to tell the homeowner that a cleaning would not do them any good. This homeowner is putting her house up for sale and was told by the realtor to give me a call because the roof did not look just right and that I would let her know if just a cleaning would work. Well I got to the house an...

Originally did this roof a coupe of months ago, but haven't been back in the neighborhood to take really great "After" shots. Had an estimate to drop off in that area and it was a bright and sunny day, so I swung in and took a few shots. This owner was told by a very "reputable" roofer...
